This lovely women’s wedding ring features an organic pattern of custom hand engraving all the way around on the top, with a complementary pattern on both ring fronts. It was created as part of a custom wedding set for a couple from Santa Monica, CA to match an engagement ring, and we designed a men’s band for the couple at the same time as well. Hand Engraving
A smoothly-flowing vine winds its way across the top of this ring, with elegant leaves branching off on both sides to fill out the design. This pattern of engraving was based on a sample piece that the clients shared with us, and it is also found on the companion engagement ring we made for this couple.
On both ring fronts, an adjusted pattern that draws from the larger one above is engraved all the way around. This is made up of smaller leaf shapes interspersed with elegant scrolls that flow one into another, and it reinforces the organic overtones of the piece while also adding an intricacy and subtle classical flair.
Matching Wedding Sets
Both rings in this wedding set are made from 14k rose gold, and the men’s band we also created for this couple incorporates rose gold rails that border a platinum center to create a connection with the women’s rings. Including these types of details is a great way to add that much more meaning to your wedding set, and when we design all pieces at the same time, we have many opportunities to customize all aspects of the design. It was especially advantageous in the case of this set to make all of the rings at the same time, as the precise shade of rose gold can vary somewhat from one batch to the next. All of these rings were made from the same stock, however, ensuring a uniformity across all three.
Matching the style and pattern of hand engraving is another reason it’s helpful to make matching sets all at once, as these types of details are completed by hand by our skilled artisans. Of course, if you already have an engagement ring and you’d like to design a matching wedding band, we would only need to borrow your existing piece during the production process to ensure that the two line up properly and that every detail is a perfect match.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
