Blue Topaz and Diamonds
The top half of this ring is dominated by a line of channel set gemstones, with five baguette cut blue topaz alternating in a line with four smaller round diamonds. Nearly everything about these two types of stones contrasts with each other, including the shape, size, and color, and that adds a lovely but still subtle intricacy to the design.
The blue topaz combined total 0.69 carats, and their clean, straight lines sit flush with the edges of the channel setting, producing a seamless and modern look. The diamonds, on the other hand, total 0.17 carats altogether, and they sit flush with both the edges of the topaz and the margins of the channel setting, while still leaving just a hint of space where they curve away from both of these elements. This dynamic adds immensely to the glamorous look of the design.

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
