Band Design
There are 17 diamonds in this ring, and they are all round and bright cut set. Each inhabits a hexagonal segment, with each of these lined up end to end in an eternity pattern all the way around the band. The hexagons not only frame the diamonds perfectly, but they also define the unique exterior margins of the ring, and this, in turn, helps to highlight the diamonds even more.
Gemstone and Metal Options
The diamonds in this piece are paired with unplated 14k white gold. Without the rhodium plating commonly applied to white gold jewelry, the metal has a champagne color that contrasts subtly with the sparkling white of the diamonds. It’s an elegant and understated look, and the juxtaposition of this metal with the diamonds helps enhance the beauty of each.
There are quite a few other options when it comes to the types of gemstones and the kind of metal that can be used in a piece like this. For instance, if you wanted a more solidly contemporary look, you might opt for platinum, with its brilliant white color that will never fade. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
