This gorgeous women’s wedding ring features round diamonds bar set and accented with milgrain running in an alternating pattern across the top of a rose gold band. It was created for a couple from Woodinville, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to try and find the perfect design.

After this initial consultation, we used the information the clients provided about the kind of ring they were looking for to develop an original design. We shared CAD images of this with them through the online workroom we had set up to manage their project, and we then grew a wax model for them to come in and examine. We went through several cycles of revisions until we had every detail exactly the way they wanted it, and they then gave their approval for our expert artisans to begin production. Band Design
This band is the same width all the way around, although the top is open and intricate while the bottom is solid. The intertwining pattern that covers the upper portion of the band gives it a delicate and unique appearance, and it is slightly domed just as the lower portion. Our original design had a taper in the band nearing the bottom, and the open pattern stopped higher up on the sides. After seeing a wax of this, the clients decided they wanted to keep the same width all the way around, and so we modified the models to reflect their preference. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
Diamonds and Milgrain
Twenty-five small round diamonds are bar set in three offset rows that run two-thirds of the way down both sides. The diamonds in the middle row are slightly larger than those on the sides, and the alternating pattern helps to highlight the delicate pattern of the metal.
Milgrain beading lines all of the metal details in the ring, bringing some vintage flair and elegance to the ring. This detail works nicely to frame the diamonds as well, creating a glittering surface all around them and complimenting their sparkle perfectly.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
