Description
This elegant women’s wedding ring is made of white gold, with a brushed finish all the way around the top of the band, and a high polish finish on the sides and interior. It was created as part of a custom wedding set for a client from Leonardtown, MD to go with engagement ring #102427. He initially reached out to us online to share his ideas about the ideal wedding set for his fiancee, and we used the information he provided to create this unique set.

Band Design
This is a straight, flat band, and the brushed finish creates a nice matte effect. It’s made to fit perfectly between the two pieces of the band on the companion engagement ring, and the muted finish of the wedding ring contrasts nicely with the high polish finish on those pieces.
The contrasting finishes help emphasize the differences in the design of the engagement ring and wedding band as well. While the wedding band is a straight, continuous ring, the companion piece includes some subtle curves. These originate from the center setting of the engagement ring, and the wedding band passes directly under this in a line.
Interlocking Wedding Sets
Matching wedding sets are quite popular, and there are many ways to combine pieces and share features between the pieces that make them up. Having the two rings interlock, as the ones in this set do, is a nice alternative to some more traditional contoured designs, and it makes for a truly eye-catching look when the set is worn together.
If you do want to have your engagement ring and wedding band fit together in a similar way to the ones in this set, we recommend you make them at the same time. We begin by gathering as much information as possible about the styles you prefer and the kinds of features you want to include, and we use that to create highly-detailed CAD images of your unique design.
At this point, you can request any adjustments or changes you’d like, and we’ll continue with these types of revisions until everything is 100% the way you want it. Only then will we move your piece into production, and if you’d like to inspect a physical representation of your design before we start building the real thing, we can grow a wax model for you as well.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
