Eternity Bands
An eternity band is a ring that has gemstones running all the way around. It is associated with unending love and the ongoing commitment you are making to one another, which is why it is such a popular choice to commemorate both weddings and milestone anniversaries.
However, there are many other occasions for which eternity bands are appropriate. For instance, having a ring like this made for the birth of your first child and incorporating their birthstone in some way creates a wonderfully special keepsake that can be passed down through the generations.
Gemstone Size
Although this is a lovely piece, it is hardly the only possible iteration of an eternity band. In fact, simply using larger diamonds with the same metal and setting type can dramatically change the appearance of the piece. That is because the larger the gemstones are, the wider the band will be, and less metal will be visible between them.

When you are ready, we will put together either a concept sketch or CAD model of the piece we propose to create for you, and you can request revisions on this until it is perfect. We can also print up a wax model for you if you would like to see a physical representation of your piece before giving the final go-ahead to put it into production.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
