Eternity Band
Although eternity bands often feature diamonds or other gemstones running in a straight line all the way around, they can also integrate a wide variety of patterns as well. In the case of this piece, the diamonds are set in a staggered arrangement, with a line in the middle that are tension set and a line on each side in bright cut settings.
The spacing of these diamonds is dictated in large part by the borders of the bright cut settings, the outsides of which also serve as the interior of the tension settings. This arrangement leads to the intricate design of the band, and it brings a wonderful, ornate feel to the piece. Double lines of milgrain beading run along these settings as well, adding a lovely vintage flair.
Customization Options
There are quite a few options to consider if you’d like to customize this design. For instance, you can eliminate the milgrain for a more contemporary look. Or you could use pink or brown diamonds to add some contrast to the ring. Using a different type of metal is also an option, and the warmer tones of rose or yellow gold would only help to intensify the vintage overtones already present in the piece.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
