14k Yellow Gold Diamond Notched Wedding Band
Item #102247 $1,848Women's Wedding Ring Description
Band Design
This band is thickest in the middle, and it tapers as it moves both up and down. It reaches its narrowest point at the very top, and this space can allow it to accommodate the center setting of several different types of engagement rings. However, the straight and symmetrical nature of the band also enables you to wear it on its own, which is especially worth considering if you have a large engagement ring you’d want to take off for certain activities or when traveling.
Diamonds and Milgrain
A set of round bright cut set diamonds sits on either side of the narrowest point on the band, and these taper in size to fill the space available as well. The center stone is the largest in each set, and the graceful lines the stones follow as they decrease in size perfectly complements the shape of the band itself.
The diamond accents are framed by double rows of milgrain beading, the outer row of which actually connects to its corresponding detail on the other side by continuing through the narrow portion of the band at the top. The milgrain gives the ring a bit of vintage flair, but you could omit it if you were interested in pursuing a more contemporary design. Matching Wedding Sets
Custom Wedding Sets
Whether you have an existing engagement ring you want a piece like this to be made to match, or you’d like to work with us to design an entire custom wedding set, our team will guide you through the process from start to finish. We create CAD renderings of all custom pieces, and you can adjust these as much as you’d like until you’re sure they reflect your vision. We can also grow a wax model for you to come in and inspect personally if you’d like some additional reassurance before giving final approval to move your project into production.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
