Diamonds and Sapphires
There are eight blue sapphires in this ring, all of which are princess cut and bezel set in 18k white gold. These total 0.63 carats all together, and they’re interspersed with round diamonds, which are also bezel set. The diamonds combine to total 0.37 carats, and their brilliant white sparkle contrasts beautifully with the deep blue of the sapphires. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
The way the shapes of the two stones contrast adds to the dynamism of the design. This effect is even more pronounced due to the fact that the edges of the bezel settings are also the margins of the band, giving it an alternating profile all the way around. The fact that the gemstones continue in a line all the way around the band is what makes this an eternity ring, and that detail adds the overtones of unending love and an unbroken bond into the mix.
Milgrain and Hand Engraving
Each bezel setting is lined with a double row of milgrain beading, bringing a glamorous touch as well as some vintage overtones to the ring. The milgrain also extends down onto the ring fronts to frame the hand engraving on the sides of the bezel settings holding the princess cut stones. A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
