Women's Wedding Ring Description

This elegant custom wedding ring features a round brilliant cut diamond flush set in a domed palladium band, accented by contrasting brushed and polished finishes. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA, and we made a men’s wedding ring for them at the same time as well. Design Your Own Wedding Ring

The clients initially came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to get the custom design process going. They viewed some sample pieces and got a good idea about the type of rings they wanted. We then put together some images in CAD of this piece as we proposed to build it, and after only minor modifications, they approved it to move into production.

Flush Set Diamond

A 0.40 carat round brilliant cut diamond is flush set in the center of this ring, and its sparkle stands out against the soft backdrop of the brushed palladium band. The client wanted the diamond to extend across as much of the width of this ring as possible, and so we adjusted the size up as much as we could from our original model to achieve the look she was after. Band Design and Contrasting Finishes

The band itself is 4mm wide and domed on top, with sides that slope down smoothly almost all the way to the finger. The narrow, flat face on each ring front is polished to a high shine, and this contrasts nicely with the matte finish on top to highlight these details of the shape of the piece.

Customization Options

If you’re interested in customizing this design, there are many good places to start. For instance, you could adjust the width of the band, making it either narrower or wider to suit your tastes. You could also adjust the shape of the center diamond, or you could choose a different type of gemstone altogether. A pink diamond or sapphire, for example, could bring a delicate contrast as well as some romantic overtones to the design.

Exploring different finish combinations is another option, as is using a different type of metal. Rose or yellow gold would bring some vintage flair to the ring, and they would also contrast nicely with the brilliant white sparkle of the diamond.
