Description
This stunning women’s wedding ring features a combination of square and round diamonds shared prong set in rose gold in a symmetrical pattern across the top of the band. It was created for a couple from Burien, WA, and we also made them a rose gold men’s wedding ring at the same time.

The clients already had the diamonds they wanted to use for this piece, and they came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to discuss their ideas with our team. After this initial meeting, we created a few concept sketches to explore some of the designs the clients had expressed interest in. After seeing these, as well as some additional versions, they settled on the arrangement of stones seen here, and so we moved into the CAD phase of the project to finalize the details. Shared Prong Set Diamonds
There are six square and six round diamonds in this ring, all of which are shared prong set in 14k rose gold. All of the diamonds together total 0.74 carats, and they were provided by the clients, which added special meaning to the piece for them as well. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
The square diamonds are considerably larger than the round in this ring, and four of them are arranged in the middle to form a larger square as the centerpiece of the design. Four of the larger round diamonds sit in groups of two on either side of this square, with another square diamond beyond that, and then one more round diamond on either side. The clients had originally thought they favored an asymmetrical layout for the diamonds, but after reviewing the various options, they settled on this classically-inspired design. They had the men’s wedding ring made from rose gold as well, which created a link between the two pieces even though they were very different from each other in all other respects.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
