This stunning women's wedding ring features pear shaped diamonds and round diamonds to perfectly contour and frame the matching engagement ring. It was created for a client from Forest Hills, NY, who had previously created the engagement ring with us and wanted to have a unique wedding ring to complete the set.

Although the client lived across the country, we were able to communicate entirely through a private online workroom where both the designer and client can post photos and message back and forth. Alternatively, clients can also message through email and text; whatever is most convenient. Of course, clients are always welcome to visit in person or call us directly. Design Your Own Wedding Ring
Contoured Band
This ring was designed to fit around a specific engagement ring, but it can be modified to fit around any engagement ring. For a contour/tracer band, we like to have the engagement ring to ensure the fit. Matching Wedding Sets
From the beginning, the client knew they wanted a band similar to this one. After they became engaged, they reached out again with some new ideas and inspiration photos. We created several mockups involving diamonds and rubies, and the client ended up choosing the version you see here. Our mockups also included princess cut diamonds instead of the pears and rounds.
The middle pear shaped diamond is the largest, and there are two slightly smaller pears on each side of the center pear. They are set with shared prongs and one prong on each tip to protect the stone from chipping. Finally, there is a round diamond next to each of the smaller pears, creating a descending style that highlights the engagement ring center. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
Many clients who choose this style eventually add a matching band to the other side of the set as well. This creates a balanced look and full set.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
