This stunning women’s wedding ring features small round diamonds set in an edge-less pave style all the way around the platinum band. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA and we made a men’s wedding ring for them at the same time. The clients came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to begin the custom design process, and on that visit they found the designs they wanted to personalize. Edge-less Pave
There are 174 diamonds in this ring, for a total of 1.80 carats. They’re arranged into four staggered rows, with two of these on the top of the band and one on each ring front. The way the rows are offset means that the widest part of one stone fits into the space between the two next to it, helping to create the impression that the ring is actually paved with diamonds. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
