This elegant women’s wedding ring features pave set diamonds in an eternity pattern, wrapping all the way around a platinum band. It was created as part of a custom wedding set for a client from Seattle, WA, who had us make both her engagement ring and wedding band at the same time. She worked with our team online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom, and we advised her on the best way to incorporate the types of features she liked to get the look she was after. Pave Set Diamonds
There are 165 diamonds in this ring, and the pave setting used to hold them allows very little metal to show between the stones. That makes it seem that the ring is actually paved with diamonds, which is where this type of setting gets its name. It creates a truly glamorous look, and it’s a wonderful way to maximize the sparkle of your design.
In the case of this particular piece, the pave set diamonds also create a link with the companion engagement ring, as the latter’s shank shoulders include this type of detail as well. This ensures the two rings will look absolutely spectacular when worn together, although this piece has more than enough character to stand on its own.
Eternity Wedding Bands
In our initial models, this ring had the diamonds only running along the top of the band, stopping at the mid-point the same way they do on the engagement ring that goes with it. But after some consideration, the client decided on the full eternity look, with the diamonds continuing all the way around. This type of design represents the everlasting and unbroken nature of the love you and your partner share, and it’s a wonderful way to mark a wedding day, anniversary, or any other significant milestone you reach on your journey together. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
