This elegant women’s wedding ring features round bright cut set diamonds in a contoured white gold band. It was made to go with a custom engagement ring, for a couple from Coquitlam, BC. They were so happy with the way the engagement ring turned out that they came back to us when it was time to have their wedding bands made, and this was the result of that second custom design process.

Bright Cut Set Diamonds
The 37 diamonds in this ring are all round and bright cut set. They sit in a line running along the top of the band, and they extend all the way down to the three-quarter point, which matches the spot where the diamond accents on the companion engagement ring stop as well. The use of the same placement and setting style for these accent stones on both pieces helps unite them as a set, and it means that they make an even more impressive display when worn together.
Matching Wedding Sets
To ensure that this band would perfectly match the engagement ring, we had to borrow it to use as a guide during the production process. This allowed us to match size and color of diamonds exactly, and it also let us check the alignment of the two rings to ensure they would sit perfectly flush on the finger.
Having a custom wedding set made enables you to integrate matching features into all pieces, and these can serve as a link representing the bond you share as a couple. Even the men’s band, while often a distinctly different style from the women’s, can share certain characteristics that create a symbolic connection to the other rings in the set. Contoured vs Straight Wedding Bands
In addition to the matching diamonds, this wedding band is also contoured to follow the lines of the engagement ring exactly. This makes it seem almost like an extension of the engagement ring when the two are worn as a set. Rings like this can even be soldered together, since the dramatic contours of the wedding band make it impractical as a standalone piece.
However, if you’d like to preserve the option to wear your wedding ring on its own, particularly in situations where you don’t want to risk damaging or losing your engagement ring, a straight band might be more appropriate. If you’d like the two rings to sit flush with each other when you wear them together, it’s important to take that into consideration when deciding on the design of your engagement ring in order to leave space for the wedding band to fit below the main setting.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
