Our custom design process allows you to create whatever you want. Whether you are looking for a unique anniversary gift, or something just because, our team will guide you to help create the perfect piece. You'll start by either customizing an existing piece, combining a few pieces, or starting completely from scratch. Then, once the design is going in the right direction, our CAD designers will create a 3D model, and at this point, you can also request a wax model to confirm the dimensions of the piece. Once you are 100% satisfied with the design and planned materials, we will move your piece into production, and you will have an heirloom piece to cherish for generations.
Bezel Set Diamonds
There are five round brilliant diamonds featured in this ring. The center is .25 carats, and the descending diamonds are then .20 carats and .10 carats on each side. They are held in almost full bezel settings, but between each diamond, there is a small space left to give the ring a more cohesive look within the diamond section. This small space also lets in more light to the diamonds so they can refract off of each other as well. Women’s Wedding Rings Seattle
Once way this ring could be customized would be to incorporate birthstones or significant gemstones. For a family of five, you could have one birthstone for each person. You could also do one gemstone throughout, either symbolizing the wearer's birth month, or even just their favorite color. If it is a benchmark anniversary, that gemstone could be the centerpiece- for example, a 40th anniversary is traditionally celebrated with ruby. Finally, adding milgrain around each gemstone would add a vintage feel to this ring.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
