This lovely women’s wedding ring features a custom filigree center section bordered on each side by hand-engraved rails lined with milgrain. It was created for a couple from Redmond, WA, who initially visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to learn more about the custom design process.

After discussing their preferences and showing them some example pieces, we put together a CAD model of the unique design we proposed to build for them. They loved what they saw, and quickly gave their approval for us to move things into production. Design Your Own Wedding Ring
Custom Filigree
The center section of this ring is filled with custom filigree in the shape of hearts, with squared and round spacers in between. The spacers are lined with milgrain beading, but the hearts are not, helping them to stand out with their smooth, high polish shine.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
Bordering this section on either side are platinum rails that feature a beautiful hand-engraved wheat pattern on both their top and fronts. Milgrain frames this detail as well, and that ties in with the milgrain on the filigree to help unite the two sections of the piece. The delicate pattern of the engraving is the perfect complement to the elegant curves of the filigree, and the two together help bring this ring a wonderful antique flair. Vintage Engagement Rings

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
