Engraved Center Section
The main feature of this ring is the lovely floral pattern that’s hand-engraved all the way around the center section. The design is clear, with flower and leaf shapes flowing into each other smoothly, and the open space around it helps it stand out on its own as well.
Because this is the type of detail that our master engraver adds by hand at the end of the production process, we can customize it a great deal so that it reflects something with special significance to you. Whether you prefer a particular style or there’s a symbol you want to incorporate, we’ll work closely with you to ensure the piece we produce is exactly what you’ve been dreaming of. Band Design and Customization Options
On either side of the engraved center section, a narrow groove runs all the way around the band, marking the division between the middle of the ring and the narrow rails on either side. These rails have softly rounded edges that work well with the organic pattern of the design to create a classic look, and that also helps to give the piece a more feminine feel.
The 6mm width of the ring provides plenty of space for the engraved pattern to be fully realized, while not being too wide for a woman’s ring. However, if you prefer a different width, all other elements can be adjusted as well to allow you to get the look you want in a comfortable size.
Other ways to customize this piece include using a different metal such as rose or yellow gold to bring some color and warmth to the design, and experimenting with contrasting finishes on the middle section and rails. You may also want to see what it would look like to integrate some small gemstones with the engraving, and our team will help you make all of the right adjustments to achieve exactly the look you’re after.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
