Description
This gorgeous women's wedding ring features two bands that are connected to each other and that are made to fit around the engagement ring like a jacket. It's made of 18k white gold, and it was created for a couple from Bellevue, WA who visited our showroom in person to begin the custom design process. They had an existing engagement ring that they wanted this wedding band to be made to match, and we collaborated with them both in person and online to ensure every detail of the finished piece was perfect. Band Design
The two bands of this ring are both approximately 4.5mm wide, and they run parallel to each other all the way around. They are connected by two strips of metal, each of which sit about three-quarters of the way down each side. The space between the two bands was specifically sized to perfectly cradle the existing engagement ring the client had, and the width of the entire piece is only slightly less than the width of her engagement ring's center setting and halo. Hand Engraving and Antiquing
The tops of both bands in this piece are covered with custom hand engraving in a unique pattern inspired by another piece the clients provided for us to use as a reference. It features a feather with an organic scroll pattern, and this design stands out more clearly thanks to the black antiquing that covers the unengraved portions of the top of the band. This detail adds a richness to the piece and provides contrast with the engagement ring also, helping to enhance the brilliant sparkle of the diamonds found there as well. Hand Engraving

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
