Blue Sapphire And Diamond Wedding Ring
Item #105421Women's Wedding Ring Description
You can begin the discussion about your custom piece by reaching out to us through our website or by visiting our showrooms in Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA in person. Once we have a clear idea of the types of gemstones and features you prefer, we'll develop a digital model of your piece in CAD that you can view and provide feedback on. We'll make as many changes to these models as you'd like, and we won't begin casting your piece in metal until you're sure we've perfectly captured your vision for your ideal ring.
Sapphires and Diamonds
The four oval blue sapphires in this ring combine to total 1.80 carats, and each is held in a partial bezel setting. The stones are oriented so that they lie lengthwise in line with the band, and the metal wraps around their longer sides but leaves the stones free at each shorter end. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
In each of the spaces between the sapphires, two small, round diamonds are set in a line, with the six all together totaling 0.18 carats. Although the diamonds are much smaller than the sapphires, their brilliant white sparkle adds an undeniably glamorous flair to the piece, and this is only intensified by the silvery shine of the metal that surrounds them. Band Design and Milgrain Beading
The gemstones in this ring extend across the top of the piece, leaving the bottom two thirds or so of the band without adornment. This part of the ring is also tapered slightly as it moves downward so that the narrowest part of the band is located at the very bottom.
The margins of the band on this lower portion are straight lines, and these are interrupted only in the section with the gemstones, where they instead follow the contours of the stones themselves. This adds a lovely intricacy to the design, and the double lines of milgrain beading that run around this part of the ring provide a hint of vintage flair and a lovely finishing touch.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
