Channel Set Diamond Wedding Band
Item #106673 $4,363Women's Wedding Ring Description
This unique wedding ring was designed and produced for one of our clients from Seattle, WA. The request was to perfectly match the band with her existing engagement ring. Matching Wedding Sets
After viewing and trying few options in-store, our client was able to choose a winner style and work with our designers to visualize it through CAD renderings.
The custom design process journey is always communicated with our clients via our web portal. Through this platform you are able to connect with our designers, follow up on your project, and request any modification to it.
Knife Edge Band
This type of ring is a twist on the classic design of a band. It offers distinction and a chic look. To better match with our client’s engagement ring, the request was a similar knife edge to the existing ring.
Despite its shape and name, the knife edge doesn’t have any sharpness to its outer layer. The shank in this type of band points away from the finger in a V-shape.
Princess Cut Diamonds in Channel Setting
For a boost of sparkle, our designers suggested princess cut diamonds to line up the upper shank area. Our client’s requested less visible metal between each stone. The best approach was to take advantage of this specific square cut to have the stones sit as close as possible in proximity though a channel setting.
The gemstones in this type of setting are placed in a channel which is flanked by the metal from both sides. This method fits the stones to form a sparkly continuous strip. In this design, one side of the band is contoured halfway by diamonds, contrasting with the other plain side of the ring.
Customization
For extra sparkle you can opt for a full contour of diamonds on both sides of the knife edge band.
If you have any inspiration you’d like to start from or seeking your future ring or piece, our designers are ready to help you either in-store or online.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
