This gorgeous women’s wedding ring features bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain running across the top of the band, with hand engraving covering the rest of the top and the fronts of the ring. It was created as part of a custom wedding set for a couple from Seattle, WA, who worked with us both online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to get every detail of their set just right. Diamonds and Milgrain
Thirty round diamonds are bright cut set in a line across the top of this ring, and these are lined with milgrain for a classy and elegant look. They also line up perfectly with the diamonds on the band of the companion engagement ring, helping the set to achieve a really stunning appearance when worn together.
Hand Engraving
The remainder of the band, except for a small section at the very bottom, is covered with beautiful hand engraving. The design on the fronts of the ring is a swirling, organic one with wonderful movement, while the lower portion of the top of the band includes a more angular design which fills the space nicely.
Our client picked out the types of engraving she liked, and we made recommendations about which we thought would look best on the different parts of the ring based on the space that was available, as well as other factors.
Euro Shank
The lower portion of the band is squared slightly to create what is known as a Euro shank. This was another feature our client particularly liked, and we used the style on the companion engagement ring as well.
One benefit to using a Euro shank is that it helps keep the ring from spinning on your finger so that the top part is always visible. It’s also a good way to balance out a large center setting, such as the one used in the engagement ring that makes up the other part of this set, and the client wanted to keep that detail uniform across both pieces.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
