Custom Hand Engraved Wedding Band
Item #102853 $4,224Women's Wedding Ring Description
During the custom design process, she did visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to view some sample pieces, and she also communicated with our staff extensively online to finalize the details of her rings.
Band Design
The primary feature of this ring is the knife edge, which runs down the middle of the band all the way around. It creates a peak with rather steep and slightly domed sides, and these stand in clear contrast to the flat, squared faces of the companion engagement ring.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
Lines of milgrain beading run along the sides of this ring, and another single row runs along the top edge. These form a frame for the lovely hand engraving that covers both faces, and it ties in with the same features on the companion engagement ring.
Neither of the rings in this set have gemstones in them, and the pattern of engraving is different on each. But the styles of engraving are quite complementary, and the use of the milgrain on both pieces creates a satisfying link between the two. Matching Wedding Sets
The patterns of engraving were the main detail the client was concerned with, and she shared some examples with us of what she was after. She was very happy with what they produced for her based on her stated style and design preferences. Design Your Own Wedding Ring

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
