Engraved Eternity Band
The main feature of this ring is the custom hand engraving, which appears in a delicate, natural pattern on the top of the band, and a more angular, yet still graceful design on the two fronts. All areas of engraving are lined with milgrain beading as well, and that detail gives the piece a nice finished look while also adding a bit of classical flair.
This type of hand engraving is completed by our expert artisans as the final step in the production process, and this allows them to attain the exquisite level of detail that you see in this piece. It also means that they can replicate just about any type of design or pattern, giving you a good way to include a detail with special significance to your relationship.
Customization Options
In addition to selecting your own pattern for engraving, you can also personalize this design by making other types of adjustments. For instance, you could remove the milgrain beading to take the piece in a more contemporary direction. Or, you could switch to a yellow or rose gold for a warmer, more vintage feel.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
