This lovely ring features round bezel set diamonds in white gold alternating with solid rose gold circles in a two-tone pattern, and although in this situation, it was given as a gift, it could also work as a wedding ring or anniversary ring. It was made for a client from Greensboro, North Carolina, as part of a three ring stack.
To begin the custom design process, this client visited our store and talked over options with a designer. Then, we gave them a sketch of what would work well together, and after some tweaks in the CAD design stage, our jewelers created the set together. Design Your Own Wedding Ring
The diamonds in this piece were provided by the client. They were given to her by a family member and had sentimental value, so she decided to incorporate them into a piece she could wear every day. The other two rings in this stack also incorporate diamonds from the same piece, creating a uniform look. Although the rings were made together, two are for one person to wear, while this ring goes to her daughter. The diamonds and two-tone look unite the set as a whole so that they can have rings that match, yet reflect their individual styles. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands
In all three rings in the stack, we used rose and white gold. This particular piece has a very modern, contemporary style because of the rose gold rounds that separate the diamonds. In contrast, the diamonds are bezel set with milgrain framing, adding a vintage look to the ring.
There are many ways to customize this piece. One option would be to change the metals used. Another would be to incorporate color gemstones, or to have the rose gold metal rounds formed into different shapes, such as hexagons.
