Since he couldn’t come into our Bellevue, WA store personally, he shipped us his heirloom family rings, and we built designs for both an engagement ring and wedding band around them using the information he gave us about the types of features he wanted to include. After we produced the initial set of 3D images, he requested some modifications, and we collaborated online until we had everything exactly the way he wanted it for both rings.
Diamonds
The largest diamond in this ring was taken from one of the family pieces the client provided, as were two of the eight included melee diamonds. This helped give the ring special significance for him and his fiancée, as it created a link across generations and between their two families.
The main diamond is round and prong set, while the other diamonds are either bright cut set or bezel set, depending on their placement and the other design elements surrounding them. The way the diamonds are worked into this piece complements the arrangement of diamonds in the matching engagement ring, and it allows the two rings to form a lovely whole when worn together.
Hand Engraving
The hand engraving that covers most of the shank lends the piece a beautiful vintage flair, and this is enhanced by the inclusion of milgrain beading running along the edges of the band. The milgrain also extends up to surround the settings of the diamonds, unifying the piece and creating some additional sparkle.
These types of details are added by our expert craftsmen as the final step in the production process, and they are completed by hand. This allows us to provide the highest possible level of detail, and it also means we can include just about any pattern or design you’d like.
