Diamonds and Milgrain
There are 13 diamonds in this ring, and combined they total 0.38 carats. They’re all round, and seven are bezel set, while the remaining six are channel set. The channel set diamonds each sit within their own rectangular section, and the longer edges of these rectangles curve in slightly to meet the stone and form the sides of the channel settings. The rectangular sections alternate with the round sections formed by the bezel settings holding the other diamonds, and this pattern defines the margins of the 14k white gold band most of the way around, ending at about the three-quarter point on each side.
Both the rectangles holding the channel set diamonds and the bezel settings themselves are lined with milgrain beading for some added vintage flair. The different sections are joined together by small links of metal, and the open feeling this creates is reinforced by the open space present within the rectangular sections on either side of the channel set diamonds. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
