London Blue Topaz Centers

The dominant features of this set are the large London blue topaz that forms the majority of the body of each earring. They are a matching set with a deep blue-green color. The bezel setting also follows the contours of the stone's margin closely, highlighting the elegant lines of the cut and providing a frame that really helps the topaz stand out. Design Your Own Earrings

Diamond Halos

Just outside of the frame created by the bezel settings, small round diamonds are bright cut set, and they bring their own glamorous sparkle to the design, along with a healthy dose of classical flair. The use of the split prong setting adds a subtle texture to the earrings as well, and the halo also adheres closely to the margins of the inner elements, resulting in each earring having the same overall shape as the topaz at its center. Filigree Baskets and Customization Options

Behind the main settings, a delicate filigree forms a basket protecting the back of the topaz and facilitating the transition to the stud fastening. This adds to the classical themes of the set also, and it's just one of the many elements of this design that you could customize. For instance, you could work with our team to integrate a special shape or letter into the filigree, within the limits of the available space, or you could modify another part of the design.

Other possible modifications to this set include changing to a different shape for the center topaz, or even switching to a different type of stone if there's one you prefer or that has special meaning for you. Alternately, you could modify the halo by using a shared prong or bright cut setting style, and you could also experiment with rose or white gold to see if you like the overall look that one of those produces better than the current color combinations.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
