Main Setting
The center stone in this ring is a 1.01 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s bezel set in platinum, as are the nine smaller diamonds arranged in a ring around it. All of these are lined with milgrain beading as well, giving the ring a bit of vintage flair and simultaneously creating a delicate floral theme.
To reinforce this element of the design, leaf shapes extend out slightly from below the ring of diamonds on both sides. These are lined with milgrain as well, and they each hold a single bright cut set diamond to help tie them in with the rest of the piece.
Accent Stones
Baguette shaped blue sapphires line the shank shoulders, five on each side, adding a burst of color and bringing a wonderful complexity to the design. They are the only stones in the ring that are channel set, and this combined with their rectangular shape helps reinforce the contrast between their rich blue and the brilliant white of the diamonds.
