14k Rose Gold Custom Diamond And Emerald Engagement Ring
Item #101438 $3,666 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
We actually completed this project while the client was deployed in Afghanistan, sharing our designs and incorporating his feedback all through our online system. Thanks to the high-tech CAD imaging software we use, we could let him see what his ring would look like with different gemstone options, and he eventually settled on the combination seen here. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond
The main stone in this ring is a one carat emerald cut diamond, and it’s perfectly cradled by four white gold prongs rising up from the shank below. The emerald cut gives the stone a strong, angular shape, which stands in stark contrast to the round accent stones and delicate tapered shank. Diamond Engagement Rings
Our client was initially considering using an emerald or sapphire as the center stone, and we created renders of the design for him using all three types of gems. In the end, he decided against the emerald at the top since it is softer than the other options he was considering. Both diamonds and sapphires are quite hard, making them better able to stand up to the rigors of everyday wear, and he liked the look of the diamond the best.
Accent Stones
Since his fiancée had expressed an interest in having emeralds in her ring, as that is our client’s birthstone, we helped him find a way to incorporate these into the design even though he didn’t wind up using them as the main stone. Instead, we bezel set two small round emeralds on each of the ring fronts below the center setting, and this brings a touch of color to the design while also working in something of special significance to the couple.
Additionally, two round diamonds are prong set on each of the shank shoulders, and these help highlight the beautiful sparkle of the center stone, while also aiding in the transition from the main setting to the band.
Band Design and Engraving
The 14k white gold shank is thickest at the bottom, and it tapers gradually from about the half-way mark until it comes almost to a point when it reaches the accent diamonds. The fronts of the shank down to the three-quarter point feature beautiful hand-engraving lined with milgrain beading for an elegant and classy touch.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
