14k Rose Gold Custom Pear Shaped Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #104780 $4,619 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The client initially visited our Bellevue, WA showroom to get the custom design process underway. We worked closely with him through the online workroom we set up to manage the project to share digital models of his piece, and this allowed him to provide feedback and request revisions as well. Once he was satisfied that the models perfectly matched his vision, he gave his approval for us to move things into production.
Center Diamond and Halo
The largest diamond in this ring is a 1.50 carat pear-shaped diamond, and it’s held in place by five talon prongs made of 18k white gold. Two of these prongs wrap around the wider part of the diamond, while the remaining three are clustered closer to the bottom, and this spacing was a detail the client wanted to make sure we got just right in order to produce the look he preferred. Diamond Engagement Rings
Surrounding the large diamond, a halo of split prong set small round diamonds follows the contours of the center stone closely. The halo helps to maximize the shine of the center also by reflecting additional light up onto it from below, and it brings a bit of classical flair to the design as well.
Matching Wedding Sets
To go with this ring, the client chose a narrow band holding matching diamond accents that would sit snug against the engagement ring and wrap around the bottom part of the main setting. There are a number of different wedding ring styles that would work well with this type of engagement ring, however, and the right choice for you depends on your own individual style as well as what you’re most comfortable wearing.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
