After this initial consultation, we shared CAD proofs of their unique piece with them through the online workroom we set up to manage their project. Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.75 carat emerald cut light yellow sapphire, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four prong white gold setting that orients it perpendicular to the band and inline with the finger when worn. Our original models presented the clients with the option of a yellow gold setting for the yellow diamond as well, while the rest of the piece remained in white gold at their request. On either side of this large center stone, an emerald cut white diamond sits in a four prong setting as well, and these angle outwards a bit to flow inline with the curvature of the ring. The two side diamonds combine to total 1.49 carats, and they were chosen specifically because their proportions balanced out that of the larger yellow diamond nicely.
Customization Options
There are several ways to begin thinking about how to customize a ring like this. For instance, you might want to choose a different color diamond, or even a colored sapphire for the center. Or if you like the colors here but still want to mix things up a bit, you could switch their placement, using the white diamond in the center and the yellow on the sides.
