Diamond Center in a Halo Setting
The main piece of this engagement ring is a 1.00 ctw round brilliant cut diamond. It is centrally set by four prongs. The center stone sits atop a basket, custom designed to blend with the vintage look of the ring. The basket is all made in filigree. These thin strands of wire interlace to form the basket and reflect its antique esthetic. The openwork design created by the filigree gives the appearance of a metal wire mesh. This technique for the basket, allows for more light to penetrate within the grooves and makes the design less heavy on metal.
An outer halo is offset from the round diamond center and encircles it with diamond melees all around. Those stones are sitting in proximity in a shared prong setting. This type of setting is known to show more of the stones while using less metal. Each diamond shares a prong with its neighboring one.
An inner halo is hugging the center stone and encircles it flawlessly with milgrain. Those tiny beads contour the round diamond and give it an additional layer of detail. The space in-between both halos is decorated with filigree for more artistry and vintage feel. The overall design gives the impression of a floral antique look ring. The amount of detail this piece of art holds, definitely, needs highly skilled artisans to make it bling and bloom.
Criss Cross Shank
The band design of this ring is a criss cross shank. The splits and bends of the shank shoulders dictate an infinity shape to the upper part. Ornamented by metal beads and diamond melees, the shank shoulders hold the infinite sign to honor a never-ending bond.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
