East-West Marquise Solitaire in Bezel Setting
Our clients had in mind a simple yet elegant inspiration of an east-west marquise ring. Our designers provided them with this design option along with rendered images which captivated our clients’ attention right away. The project was then moved to the wax stage to have a better visualization of the dimensions. The wax model was shipped to our clients which helped them confirm that the proportions are perfect to their liking.
No matter where you are located, we ship the wax model to you, or if you live close by, you’re always welcome to pass by our locations so we can enjoy the try-on with you! The final step is moving the ring into production. This beautiful piece was casted in 18k yellow gold, with the center stone resting in a bezel setting.
The marquise center is east-west oriented, adding a layer of detail to this extremely elegant piece. The metal rim created by the bezel flawlessly contours the elongated shape of the main stone.
The center diamond is raised off the base setting by the arches extending from the shank shoulders. This style is known as cathedral. It’s reminiscent of the classic cathedral architecture since it’s famous for arches and vaults.
This solitaire style gives tribute solely to the marquise diamond having all eyes converging center stage.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
