14k White Gold Custom Blue Sapphire And Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #102444 $5,631 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
He decided to go with a diamond halo, but to make the piece more unique for his bride, he had us use an oval blue sapphire as the center and adapt the halo to the shape of the stone. This combination created a truly elegant and timeless piece, and he and his fiancee were so happy with it that they came back to us for their wedding bands as well.
Sapphire Center
The stone in the center of this ring is a 2.98 carat oval sapphire with a brilliant blue fire. It’s bezel set in 18k white gold, and the stone’s color contrasts wonderfully with the silvery band as well as the sparkling white diamonds in the halo to create a truly stunning display.
Sapphires are a popular alternative to diamonds for use in engagement rings, and they can be integrated as accents or as the main stone, as in this piece. These gems are associated with hope, good fortune, and wisdom, and they naturally occur in many different shades, providing the opportunity for you to include a favorite color in your ring. They’re also nearly as hard as diamonds, and that makes them a good choice for an everyday piece like a wedding band or engagement ring. Sapphire Engagement Rings
Diamond Halo and Accents
The first feature our client knew he wanted in his ring was the diamond halo, and we shaped it to fit his stone. The oval halo perfectly frames the center sapphire, adding beautiful sparkle and helping to enhance its shine by reflecting light back up onto it. Halo Engagement Rings
Additional bright cut set diamond accents run down the shoulders of the split shank to just below where their two strands join together at about the mid-way point on the band. These are lined with a delicate milgrain beading, as are the diamonds in the halo, and this detail works to connect both sections of the ring, while simultaneously adding a bit of vintage flair. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
