14k White Gold Custom Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103096 $1,682 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Princess Cut Diamond
At the top of this ring sits a 0.72 carat princess cut diamond in an elegant trellis setting. The four prongs that meet the diamond at its corners curve up gracefully from the criss-cross below, and they bow out slightly as they do so. This gentle curve stands in opposition to the clean, straight lines of the diamond, giving the impression that the stone is suspended from those four corners at the top.
Band Design
The band itself is straight and narrow, and it’s made of 18k white gold. The beautiful curve of the ring is only interrupted at the top where the strands that cross over each other to form the prongs emerge from the lower portion of the shank shoulder. The upper part rises ever so slightly at the same time, curving up to meet the bar near the bottom of the main diamond as it comes to a point.
Customization Options
Despite the simplicity of this design, there are quite a few ways you can modify so it’s a match for your personal style. For instance, you could use a different shape for the diamond in the center. A round stone would give this ring a softer, more classical feel, while an emerald cut could take things in a more antique direction.
Using a different color metal for the band is something to think about too, as is using a different kind of gemstone all together. Sapphires are frequently used as alternatives to diamonds in engagement rings, and the many different colors they come in make them a nice option if you’re looking to integrate a more personal touch into your piece. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
