He had found a two inspiration pieces that he wanted to combine to create his unique design, and we showed him what that would look like while also clarifying the type and size of stone he wanted to use. Once we’d finalized these details, we proceed to the CAD phase of the project, and after he approved our digital models, we turned things over to our expert artisans to begin production. Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.04 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s prong set at the top of the criss-cross platinum split shank. The prongs meet the diamond at the compass positions in a configuration that flows naturally from the curvature of the strands that make up the band.
The client liked the design of this setting, which he found on one of his inspiration pieces, but he wanted to combine it with the three-stone look from another ring he found. We accomplished this by adding a round diamond on either side of the center, tucked into the space between the two strands as they branched away from each other on their way to the top. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is made of two platinum strands that lie next to each other at the bottom of the ring, but that separate soon after they begin moving up the sides. The separation peaks just above the mid-point on each side, and from there, the strands quickly move back in, crossing over each other before beginning to transition into portions of the main setting.
After this cross-over, the bottom strand curls in more tightly, wrapping around the side of the the smaller diamond on each side of the center. The top strand, on the other hand, angles up and continues past the side stone to meet the main diamond in the middle as one of the prongs in the main setting. This strand is also lined with small, round bright cut set diamonds that begin at the point where the two strands initially separate and continues all the way up into the main setting.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
