14k Yellow Gold Custom Blue Sapphire And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #100056 $4,212 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
One of the client’s first priorities was to incorporate color. Second, he wanted the shank to incorporate flowing lines, evocative of a dancer’s grace. Lastly, he wanted the center stone to be secure in its setting. With these instructions in mind, we designed the sweeping crisscross shank with a wrap setting for the diamond. The simple white color of the platinum and the diamond was accented by a pair of bold sapphires, representing his fiancée’s favorite color.
The client was able to pick up the finished product upon returning home from his deployment. Joseph Jewelry is thrilled to have been such a big part of this couple’s happily ever after, and we look forward to doing the same for you!
Part of the adventure of creating a custom engagement ring is trying to create something personal that you wouldn't find anywhere else. This is a chance to break away from convention and make a statement that is all your own. It was this kind of adventurous spirit that brought about this lovely diamond and sapphire piece, courtesy of our custom design jeweler in Seattle and Bellevue. Diamond Engagement Rings

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
