Diamond Center
At the center of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond with dazzling fire. It’s cradled perfectly in a wrapped tension setting formed by two strands of the split shank as they curve up around the stone and then taper to a point. This dynamic helps highlight the perfect shape of the diamond, and it also flows smoothly out of the band design.
Band Design
The band itself is one piece across the bottom. It splits at about the three-quarter point into two strands that bow out and then back in, with one crossing under while the other crosses over in the opposite direction. The upper strand then continues up to transition into the center setting, while the lower strand intertwines with its partner from the other side direction below the center setting. Diamond and Sapphire Accents
The swirling movement of the band design in this piece is highlighted by the diamond and blue sapphire accents that are bright cut set all along the strands. The sapphires occupy the top strand on one side and the lower on the other, with the diamonds taking opposite positions. This creates the impression that the two matching strands from each side come together on the top and bottom of the center diamond when the piece is viewed straight on from the top. Both the diamonds and sapphires are lined with milgrain beading, which works with the bright cut setting style to bring a hint of vintage flair to the piece. This complements the contemporary overtones of the band design nicely, and it gives the ring a finished, balanced feel.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
