Center Diamond
At the top of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond is cradled in a four prong setting made of 14k white gold. The juxtaposition of the polished, silvery metal and the brilliant white diamond helps to intensify the latter’s shine, and the open sides of the setting ensure plenty of light can reach the stone from all sides.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band maintains its width most of the way from the bottom up the sides, but it begins to taper just above the mid-point, narrowing elegantly as it approaches the center setting. This creates a lovely effect when the ring is viewed straight on from the top, as the diamond is perched directly above the narrowest point on the band.
The only other gemstones in the ring are six small round diamonds that are all bezel set on the ring fronts, with three on each side. These are arranged in a line below the center diamond, and the two on the sides sit just outside the base of the prongs of the main setting, while the third is tucked right between them. These accents add a surprise sparkle to the piece, and they integrate beautifully with the custom hand engraving and filigree that complete the look. Unique Engagement Rings
Custom Hand Engraving
The top and fronts of the band down to the three-quarter point are covered with a wheat pattern of custom hand engraving, and lines of milgrain beading separate the different sections, framing them perfectly. Milgrain lines the bezel settings of the accent diamonds as well, bringing a decidedly vintage flair to the design and helping to unite the various sections of the piece. Diamond Engagement Rings
