14k Yellow Gold Custom Three Stone London Blue Topaz And Diamond Engagement Ring

We reviewed their options with them, and we built their unique design around the center stone they provided. Throughout the process, they were able to review CAD proofs of the design through the online workroom we set up to manage their project, and we didn’t turn anything over to our expert artisans so that production could begin until the clients gave their final approval.
Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this design is a 1.27 carat princess cut diamond, and it’s held aloft in a 14k rose gold talon prong setting. The only change the client requested to our initial digital models was to raise the center stone slightly, allowing its full beauty to shine through on every side. The client provided the diamond itself, and so we were able to build the ring to perfectly highlight the elegant lines of its cut. Diamond Engagement Rings
On either side of the center stone, a pear shaped London blue topaz is prong set in rose gold, and each stone measures 5mm by 3mm. These are tucked up against the sides of the center setting, meeting the prongs holding the larger diamond about half-way up towards the top. The topaz are also angled slightly downward, which helps to facilitate the transition to the band below. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Customization Options
The blue topaz in particular held special meaning for the clients, and so including them in this ring made it that much more special for them. If you’re looking to put your own personal mark on a ring like this, one good place to start may be to select a different type of gemstone with personal significance. For instance, you could use your partner’s eye color to guide your choice, or you could choose their birthstone. You may also want to change the shapes of the stones used in this design, as doing so would give the piece a decidedly different look while still keeping most of the basic framework of the design intact.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
