Diamond Solitaire
At the top of this ring, a one carat, round brilliant cut diamond sits in a six-prong setting made of 14k white gold. This diamond is the only gemstone in the ring, which is what makes it a solitaire design. That style is a traditional choice for an engagement ring, and the other details of this design reflect those classical origins as well.
The way the six prongs of the center setting cradle the diamond give it a bit of a floral appearance, and that is only enhanced by the shape of the prongs as on the lower portion of the setting. Each prong begins as two strands that curve towards each other, eventually meeting and then rising up to curl over the girdle of the diamond at the top. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
