Center Setting
The round brilliant cut diamond at the center of this ring is just over three carats, and to ensure it stays in place, we used double claw platinum prongs. These also have the benefit of framing the stone beautifully, and because of the strength of the platinum, the setting can still be quite open, allowing the diamond to be viewed clearly from all angles. And there are many other options as well for how you can include unifying features subtly across all elements of a wedding set. We do recommend that you have all rings in a set made at the same time, and that’s particularly important when you have these types of features included and you want to make sure they match exactly. But if you have an existing engagement ring and want us to design wedding bands to match it, we can absolutely do that as well.
