Description
This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong yellow gold setting, with bright cut set diamond accents. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who found our ring #102339 online and asked us to make some changes so that it was exactly what he wanted. We worked with him both in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom and online to finalize the details of his ring and ensure that it turned out as perfectly as he was envisioning.

Center Diamond
The main stone in this ring is a 1 carat round brilliant cut diamond with wonderful sparkle. It’s held securely in a four prong setting made of 18k yellow gold, which provides an excellent contrast to the bright white of the diamond. When it came time to select the center stone, we brought in a few diamonds for our client to look at, and once he’d picked out his favorite, we set it in the ring. Diamond Engagement Rings
Accent Stones
There are round bright cut set diamond accents running down both shank shoulders, and these work in conjunction with the choice of yellow gold to help establish the classical style of the piece. And as a finishing touch, smaller round diamonds are bright cut set in a band that seems to wrap around the bottom of the center setting. There are three of these between each set of prongs, and they really help to tie everything together.
Customization Process
Like our client did, you’re more than welcome to pick out one of our existing designs and adjust it until it perfectly reflects your personal style. This ring offers many opportunities for customization, beginning with the type of metal used.
Switching to rose gold, and perhaps even adding some milgrain beading to the shank to frame the accent stones would give the piece more of a vintage look, for example. Or you could go for a modern style and use princess cut diamonds channel set in a white gold band.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
