Center Diamond and Halo
The princess cut diamond at the top of this ring is one carat, and it sits in a chevron prong setting that cradles its corners perfectly. The clean lines of the princess cut are nearly mirrored by the contours of the halo, but the halo’s rounded corners soften the look slightly and give it a more classical feel.
The halo itself is made up of round bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain. These bring their own wonderful sparkle, and they also intensify the shine of the larger stone in the center by sending even more light up onto it. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents and Band Design
Round accent diamonds are bright cut set down the shank shoulders, running from the side of the halo all the way down past the mid-point on the band. Milgrain frames these as well, and the connection they create between the two parts of the ring helps give the piece a balanced, cohesive feel. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
