Description
This stunning engagement ring features a marquise cut center diamond, with a pear-shaped diamond on either side of it, and additional diamond and metalwork accents. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA, who originally found us while searching for inspiration designs online.

They visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person for an initial consultation. After that, we collaborated on the design details both online and in person to ensure that everything came out exactly the way they wanted it.
Center Setting
The main stone in this ring is a marquise cut diamond that comes in at just over one carat and that was provided by the client. It’s a stone that’s been passed down through his family, and it was very important to him to include it in this ring. Diamond Engagement Rings
The three-stone setting is completed by the addition of a pear-shaped diamond on either side of the center stone, and that really helps with the transition from the wide marquise at the top to the narrower band below.
Because the diamond was only half the size of the center stone in the original inspiration piece the client provided, we adjusted the scale of all other elements as well to keep the same proportions while still incorporating his family stone.
Shank Design
This ring features a Euro shank, which means that the bottom is slightly squared on the outside while the inside remains a smooth circle. This style is recommended especially when you have a large center setting because it will help balance out that element and keep the ring from spinning on your finger.
Engraving and Milgrain
In addition to the main setting, this ring also includes some smaller diamond accents in the form of bright cut set stones running down the shoulders of the shank. These are lined with milgrain, which contributes to the vintage flair of the piece, and the majority of the remainder of the shank is covered in beautiful hand engraving.
Beneath the center setting, hand-made scroll filigree fills the space between the lower band and the cathedral. The swirling motion of this detail ties in nicely with the pattern of the engraving, and the combination makes for a truly breathtaking presentation.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
