Whether you want to come into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to speak with one of our designers or you prefer to communicate with our team online, we guarantee you’ll be completely satisfied with what we produce for you. Our custom design process is set up in such a way that you can adjust the CAD models as many times as necessary to get the look you’re after, and we won’t put anything into production until we get an unequivocal go-ahead from you.
Three-stone Setting
At the top of this ring, a cushion shaped sapphire is partial bezel set in platinum, and the lovely blue of the stone is only made more striking by the contrast with the brilliant white of the metal that frames it. On either side of the sapphire, a trapezoid diamond is also partial bezel set, completing the three-stone setting and adding its own beautiful sparkle as well. Three Stone Engagement Rings
The trapezoids are positioned with their wider edges up against the center stone, and their angular shape provides an additional layer of contrast with the rounded corners of the cushion shaped sapphire at the top. They also angle down towards the shank shoulders, easing the transition from the larger main setting to the narrower band. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
Customization Options
Personalizing this piece might be as simple as substituting a birthstone or other significant gemstone for the sapphire or diamonds in the center. You might also want to consider using a different setting style such as full bezel to give the piece a more classical flair. And you could switch to a different color metal like yellow or rose gold.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
