The Eternity Design
Eternity bands feature diamonds or other gemstones wrapping completely around the shank of the ring as a symbol of everlasting and infinite love. The diamonds in this ring are held in place by shared prong settings that create an open feel and showcase as much of the stones’ natural beauty as possible while still providing excellent security.
Eternity bands come in all shapes and sizes, and this is one area that we can customize for you. For instance, you can substitute your favorite colored gemstones for some or all of the diamonds to add special meaning to the ring and another layer to the design.
Solitaire Center
The round brilliant cut diamond solitaire that sits atop this ring stands out dramatically thanks to the classic shank and four prong setting. The polished finish of the 18k white gold band combined with the added sparkle of the diamonds in it highlight the main stone nicely and only serve to increase its brilliance. Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

- Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
