Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103987Engagement Ring Description
You can get things started by visiting our Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA showrooms in person, or you can reach out through our website. We’ll discuss your options and ideas with you, and we’ll then develop a unique design for you in CAD. You can request any modifications you’d like to these models, and only once you’re completely satisfied will we turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Diamond Solitaire
The only gemstone in this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s prong set in 18k white gold. The prongs curve up around the stone, following its general contours while still leaving plenty of space around the diamond for light to reach it. The fact that there are no other gemstones in this ring is what makes it a solitaire, and this has long been a popular style when it comes to engagement rings. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Customization Options
The band is also white gold, and it maintains a consistent curvature on its inner margin while rising up slightly on the top as it nears the center setting. The top surface features a knife edge design, adding a subtle but significant stylistic element to the ring. Similarly, on each ring front, a small inverted V shape sits directly below the main diamond, and this is an area you can customize to if you’re interested in working in some sort of personal detail or symbol.
Some other customization options to consider include switching to a different shape of diamond for the center, such as an oval or a princess cut. You may also decide to go with another type of metal for the ring, or you could add some custom hand engraving along part or all of the band.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
