18k Yellow Gold Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103436 $9,922Engagement Ring Description
Center Setting and Halo
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.26 carat round brilliant cut diamond that was taken from the client’s original engagement ring. It’s held up in a four prong platinum setting above a halo of bright cut set round diamond, and the outer margin of the halo is gently squared, with pointed corners and curved sides. This introduces a more angular nature to the design that is echoed further down the shank shoulders, as well as in the companion wedding band. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Just below the main setting, three baguette diamonds are bar set on each shank shoulder, running straight up and down next to each other. These came from the client’s original ring as well, and they taper slightly moving away from the center to help facilitate the transition to the narrower band below.
At the bottom of the baguettes on each side, an Asscher cut diamond is bezel set, echoing a similar detail on the matching wedding ring. The bezel setting is lined with a double row of milgrain beading, and milgrain accents the diamonds in the halo as well. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle
The milgrain continues onto the bar setting of the baguette diamonds, and it also runs along the edges of the intricate framework on both ring fronts. This serves as a unifying feature for the various areas of the ring and with the companion wedding band, and it adds a hint of vintage flair to the set as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
